The Rest of the Story: Ava: Sweet Ava
Thursday, August 6, 2009 This is beautiful nine-month-old Ava. And she really is so sweet. Everything a little girl should be. If you remember she was one of the first ones on this new blog! This shot is my favorite. It's my favorite because I think that kids must think that I'm crazy sometimes. "Here, honey...sit on this awkward box, in this creepy orchard. I'm going to lay on the ground over here. Perfect! Now look at me...I know that you don't know me very well but it will be OK. I will do a barrage of crazy things to try and make you laugh, smile, and keep looking at me. And just when I get your attention I'm going to put a huge black camera in front of my face so you are confused as to where I went. 1...2...3...cheese!" The kid has to be thinking..."What?!" I'm surprised that every photo of a nine-month-old isn't like this!!!
