The Heart of Life: Music

This post is about music. There are a lot of things that I want to blog about from the last couple of weeks. Music is one of them. I've been a bit MIA because it's been a crazy time. Basically it went like this:

Three awesome but large family photo sessions (one down two to go)

A crazy sweet wedding in Newport Beach CA (preview to come shortly)

NCAA football season starts TOMORROW!! Needless to say, work is beyond busy, press conferences, media guides, credentials, press packets... I'm up to my ears!...Did I ever mention that 2 full-time jobs is too many? Well, I meant to.

I moved. I thought...moving...that will take me two days. WRONG! I moved from furnished to unfurnished. I've spent inordinate amounts of time moving. But more on this later. I promise a post with equal amounts of complaining and bragging about my new diggs.

So....what does that have to do with music? Music saves me. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm glad that it does. I seems to put things in perspective, calm me, and make me happy...no matter what is going on. So thank you music. For pulling me off a ledge more than once during this adventure.

I don't subscribe to a genre of music. I don't even subscribe to a decade or timetable for music. I hear it and I like it. That's all. So my music collection is eclectic and boring at the same time. I organize my music by color or by mood. Sometimes I organize at random and I'm the only one who can find a connection. I'm not sure what we ever did without iTunes. It's my therapy. So in honor of my music I've updated and added to the music section of Things I Love. So go and check it out.

Jenny,

I love the preview so far! I've been checking the sight daily because I've been so excited to see the photos. Once again, you worked your magic! Can't wait to see the others...

Amen and Amen.

Music is near and so dear to my heart. Itunes is a lifeline for me. Josh gets all frustrated when he sees like 50 dollar purchases from itunes. Makes for a happy kenna. :)
