Happiness?...Yep
Monday, January 11, 2010 Another thing that makes me happy is that I turned 30 and survived. It shouldn’t have been traumatic but it was. See being 30…and single…and lds…to a lot of people, is a death sentence. It’s baffling to me that people think this way, but they do. It must not occur to them that their plan is not my plan. We each have our own plans…our own plans of happiness. So…I have it on good authority (and I mean GOOD authority) that I’m living the plan that m Heavenly Father wants me to live. And I’m doing just what he wants me to do. And that means being single, and 30, and a good mormon girl :). Believe it or not, this is my plan and I’m on board that it will bring me the happiness.
I always thought that when I turned 30 I would take off from here and go and experience the world. It turns out that Provo is just were I’m supposed to be. There is much to be experienced and much to be learned right here and right now. If you feel like you are stuck in a rut…in a place that you don’t love…try harder:). No, really...try harder! Try to love where you are. Try to love what you are doing. What is there to love in your life? Much. There is much to love in this world. Everywhere.
Some highlights of the day in polaroid. Note: My sister Stacey made the amazing black and white cake. I love it!! I hear that my whole family helped! That is a labor of love! J. I would have loved to have been there and witnessed their first attempts at fondant!

this was a pretty dope party, if i do say so myself.
i'm loving what you said about your own plan for happiness. you have yours, and i have mine, and everyone else has theirs. it's important that this is recognized. it wouldn't work unless we each had our own, individual plan.
where is the picture of a.j. the bunny?
I never cease to be amazed at your insight. I love being friends with you.
