It's Christmas Time in the City...

Stacey and I walked to Deseret Book last night through the lights at Temple Square. I love Christmas time in the city.

Tuesday we ventured out and bought a tree. My mom gave me tree decorations as an early Christmas gift. I was super excited about the chartreuse ornaments. I'm not sure why. It's a wierd color to obsess about. The solid chartreuse glitter one is my favorite.

I was also really excited that my Grandma's Merry Christmas sign looks great on the bookshelf. My Grandma made this sign for my mom a long time ago. Growing up it always hung on the mantel of our fireplace above the stockings that my mom made. I love that the little shaped sequins are sewn on with tiny beads and not just glued. I love handmade things...

We got our stockings at Target for $2...oh, well :)

And Stacey called dibs on the stocking that says Merry Christmas across the top. I didn't realize that mine didn't say anything...I kinda feel ripped off... :)
