The Rest of the Story: Jake: As He Is...

The best thing ever happened with this senior photo shoot. Debbie (Jake's mom) said to me, "We just want photos of how Jake is now...in this part of his life." Perfect. There is no better way to sum up how I would like every photo shoot to be. I believe photos should be a record of how you are in that part of your life. Show what you like and what makes you tick here and now. Sure, it's OK to put on your favorite outfit and get your hair done. But it's OK to just be yourself...not your scrubbed up self...just yourself. You may not always be this way. So show up how you are and love it! I could take pictures like these all day!

I love that his mom wasn't worried about getting him all dolled up, that they're pictures of him as him. They really are fabulous photos!
