Awake My Soul

It is rare that I am introduced to an new artist and I immediately envelop all of the music that that artist produces. I usually like a song or two based mostly on reasons that don't make sense or seem to be connected. When I first heard Mumford & Sons I was amazed an addicted at once. I downloaded all of their music that was available. Awake My Soul is my favorite so far. It's a song that does what it proposes to do. It awakes my soul. Here is the original version:

I'm not sure who uploaded the song and called it "Awaky My Soul" but the song is the right one anyway. I think this song is genius. And in case you were worried that Mumford & Sons are not really amazing musicians here is an amazing Take Away Concert with out fancy sound equipment. I'm amazed how their sound builds and is so full with out amplifiers and electronics. Fascinating! This concert is partially in French but the sound is the same. The Banjolin Song is first, and great, but if you don't have time to watch the whole thing skip it to 5:30 and listen to the live Awake My Soul. Amazing!
