anticipation...

The reason that fall is so great is that it's a time of anticipation. I'm filled with anticipation from the first time I feel the brisk air in the evening, or a stray patch of leaves fly by, or just start to change colors on the mountains. Immediate anticipation for all the comforts that fall brings...and mostly for all the excitement of the holidays. It seems like there is always something to look forward to in the fall. That is why it's my favorite time of year.

This is the first time I have felt the anticipation you wrote about.

I am even going out tomorrow to get an, 'autumny scent'.

I even can't wait for Christmas...and Christmas music!
