Sometimes you drop your iPhone on the driveway and the screen shatters...
But then sometimes you find a not-too-creepy guy on ksl.com to fix it for a fairly reasonable price and you realize that now the scratch that has been on the screen for months will be gone too. Hmmmm....

Boo! I did this to my iphone a few times. Got it fixed the same way too! Hope it comes back to you nice and shiney.
