...wonderful weekend...

I had a great weekend. My parents and brother were in Salt Lake for LDS General Conference. I love conference and I love my family! Thursday was great weather so we walked down to the Gateway and ate and shopped. Friday Analee, Shaun and Kadence came up to shop and I got to play with Kadence. She is the cutest! Saturday we tried Cafe Niche for the first time and later dessert at Gourmandise while the men were in the Priesthood Session. Sunday we watched conference on the couch...well Stacey, Blake, and I did...the parents had to go to all the sessions. We had a great Sunday dinner at our apartment after. There are a lot of perks in living a block from the Conference Center...and some drawbacks...mostly related to traffic and parking. All-in-all it was a great weekend. Spending time with my family and listening to the prophets and apostles reminds me that I can do hard thing...I can do anything. If you need a boost read, listen to, or watch some conference talks. They are amazing...and true!
And don't forget the great music...This is one of my favorite hymns and one of my favorite arrangements. From the Sunday afternoon session...enjoy!

Lynn...it's actually a doodle that I made during conference...I focus better when I'm doodling :)
