...mother's day...

First off...mom, please don't disown me for posting these pictures!! Not that many people see my blog... And I love these photos! So much!
She's pretty huh? All of the photos are of my mom and me or my brother Jason...except the last one which is clearly my dad...dad, don't kill me either!
I know that everyone thinks that they have the greatest mom and the truth is that they do...the greatest mom for them. And I have the greatest mom for me. She amazing. She's creative and articulate and organized. She can sew anything, no patterns...to problem. She's a great cook...I love to cook with her. She loves to laugh which works out well because we are a bunch of goofs who like to make her laugh. She plays with us...her adult children...yes, we play. We play Words with Friends on the iPhones (pretty much everyday) and Scrabble and cards and she even talks like a leprechaun/pirate when playing Curses. Probably her favortie thing ever is to be with her grandkids...just to play and be with them. She's always sad when they leave.
From my mom I got my creativity, my love of reading and quilting, a weakness for Masterpiece Classic movies, my blonde hair, my fair skin, my healthy nails, and an inability to hold in the tears when someone else cries. (As you can see from the photo above I got most of my facial features from my dad).
And she's full of traits that I wish I had inherited more of. She is endlessly giving...I mean endlessly. I'm amazed at her ability to think of others before herself and to give continually. I've learned about unconditional love from her. No judgement...just love. She listens better than anyone I've ever met. Ever. She's so patient with me and life in general. She my best friend and I'm pretty sure I would self-destruct with out her.
So...happy Mother's Day mom...thank you for everything that you do and everything that you are. I know this is what you wanted for Mother's Day...to be embarrassed on my blog....
I love you!
